World of Creativity

"A, B, C, D...."26 alphabets can generate million of words; "do, re , mi, fa, so, la, ti, do" just eight notes of that can created other musics and songs that impress everyone. Red, yellow, and blue three main colours can mixed to another another colours and painted the a colourful world. A simple thing can become creative and interesting when you join them together. Throughout these 14 weeks of attending the class of Creative Thinking and Idea Generation, I have realised this. Creativity is not something that come appear suddenly. It is something that you have seen, you have observed, you have feel. When you mixed them together, it become yours, your creativity. It is a process, a never-ending process. I have claimed myself in those days that I am not a creative person. As I cannot come out something different with other people. I gave up easily and dint go to generate and dig out the things that lies within my mind. But now, I have a different perception of creativity. As long as you tried, nothing is impossible. Observed more, anything can be your inspiration and creativity. I glad that I have attended this class. I appreciate that. Thanks Sir.

Oppa Gangnam Style

Korean popular song is getting more fans around the world. Korean beautiful and handsome stars are always make people irresistible to fall in love with. However, there is a 34 years old rapper has become a common topic to discuss among the society. Neither because of his handsome face nor his beautiful voice, but his music video. When I first listen to the song, it is just a typical Korean popular song to me. My perception changed after I watched his music video. I started to understand why people get addicted to this song. He is not as handsome as others Korean stars, do not have six packs on his body but another way round. Then what so attractive about him? Is his funny dancing movement and the dancers! His dance become perfectly match when cope with the song. It is like a horse riding dance and he danced all over the place includes the horse stables, on the boat, on the street, in public transport area and so forth. I believe nowadays all the people will start to learn his funny yet stylish dancing movement after watch his music video. This song entitled "Oppa Gangnam Style" become the most popular words among the words of people mouth. By just learning the horse riding dancing movement can get so popular, this shows that creativity is really anywhere. Just depends on how you explore it. And don't be surprise when you become famous in the future because anything can happen! Undeniable that many movements are inspire by the animal, like cat walk, "dog swimming style", peacock dance and so forth. Should train myself to become more observable to make my like more interesting and who knows I can become like him too?

Fake silicon bellies

When you taking bus and found a nice place seated. You stand up when you see a pregnant woman all the way up to the bus. You invite her to take your seat, she said thanks to you politely. You feel satisfied and you are proud of yourself of doing a good deed. What if you found out that she is actually wearing a "fake belly" to pretend that she is pregnant? Currently saw a news reported that there are silicon fake silicon bellies selling online. There can be categorized into few groups: 2-4 months, 5-7 months, and 8-9 months. The size of having the twins baby belly also available. I feel surprise when i read this news. What is the purpose of pretending to be pregnant? I wondering. What i found out from the news is some people using that to increase the comedy effect(for acting), for baby adoption, find people for surrogacy (maybe they cannot deliver baby so pretend to be pregnant), avoid from being fired by boss. Some even merely for the benefits of being a pregnant woman such as avoiding long queue and seat for the public transportation. I was like: What? How can the pregnancy be fake? How can they spoiling the image of a pregnant mummy? This is just like lying. For the comedy effect can be understandable, but for others, is really cheating. However, it still depends on the situation. Can this be classified as white lies? I do not know how if the people find out the truth. No matter how I think still one day the people around them will dig out the truth. Despite of my comments, this fake silicon bellies is very popular now. It is worth RM196-RM588. Some buyers stated that they enjoy of being a pregnant woman when the people around her will take good care of her. But still, I feel uncomfortable of knowing this. However no people can predict the future. Who knows in the future I might need them? Cannot deny that this is very creative, and really satisfy some customers needs. But in the future we have to know to identify the "real" or "fake" pregnant in case we getting cheated. But still this is better than you having a real beer belly. At least this can be take off.

Technology vs Traditional

Uncle asked me to give tuition for his son as his exam is coming very soon. He is only standard 3, which is 12 years younger than me. When looking at his syllabus, the syllabus really change a lot.Science and Maths is divided into two languages, which are Mandarin and English. Last time we only have mandarin. Others I think is more or less the same. Before give him tuition, I guide him to finish his Chinese word writing. When i looking at his writing, i asked myself: Will he still write by using his own hand in the future? Since nowadays we all just use the "pin yin" to type our words out. Why dont the school just teaching them to "type" rather than "write"? I think it is more practical in this sense. To be frankly, after graduated form secondary school, I really lack of writing the Chinese word by using own hand. I believe other people also the same. Therefore, when really need we use our own hand to write out the word, it really difficult for us to recall back, or I will just use my hp to check. It's a pity for us and is a disadvantage of the technology advanced. Handwritten words actually have more emotion compare to the typed word. We can roughly know how is the person after seeing the handwritten word. The typed word just emotionless. No matter how, typed word is aiding us with more efficiency, just feel reluctant to replace the handwritten word. Probably I should learn from my little cousin when I am teaching him, as a reminder of the Chinese word. He learn form me, I learn from him. It's fair :)

Natural is beauty

This advertisement is creative and can fully utilize the beauty of the environment.

This is a hair dye advertisement. To show the hair color changing, it dint use a nice model that shows how nice is the hair, instead, the advertiser hang the billboard high in front of the sea. We can look through the hair to the sky. Therefore, when the sky color change, the hair color change also. Morning: Gold color; Evening: orange color; Night: Dark color. The hair color change according to the weather! They dint use any technology by investing a vast amount of money to alter the hair color, , but using the power of the natural. Smart enough! Using this method not only can save cost, also manage to show the powerful message of the advertisement: the hair dye is containing a range of color! The advertisers also smart because they know the natural is always prettier than the thing which purposely done. This advertisement also inspired me that the natural power is the most beautiful thing in the earth. What if they use the human made color to paint the hair color? The color exactly do not have those effect. No matter how many technology you own, how many buildings you build, you still cannot compete with the beauty of the natural. Just like there are many nice scenery that human being cannot paint them easily, but the natural scene can do that. So is make up make a person prettier? Or the natural face nicer? Of course I prefer the later. :)

Lost and Gain

Wake up in the early morning, left leg is in pain. I barely to move. Do not know what I have done yesterday night. Perhaps sleepwalking and fell down? I do not know. Left leg hurt, have to depend on my right leg to support my massive body. Here come an idea to me: You lost something, you will only aware of you actually had it before. When your leg sprained, you became more noticed on the pain leg. You realized that you have never appreciated when the legs are in good condition, hoping that the legs recover so much; When you lost one of your teeth, your tongue will keep licking between the hole, hoping the teeth were there; When your closest family not around, only you started to miss them, when they are gone. This is because human used to be the condition they used to be. Thus, when the condition changed, they are not familiar and started to cherish the pass. They will magnify the mistakes and forgot what they having around. Perhaps the lost and pain function as reminder for us to appreciate them. However, somehow rather human are good in adapting in new environments. They can start to get use to the new situation. When the new situation changed again, they will get to use in the new situation again and again. Until the last breathe of their live. All of these stick to one condition: Let the pass go. We cannot predict what will happen next. But if we cannot let the "used to be condition" go slowly, we will remain and stand still in the same point. We might just blame ourselves again and again and depression happened. Just like if I unwillingly to move on with my hurt leg and keep blaming myself, then I will never step out from my room. Left leg hurt, I am glad that I still have my right leg, at the moment I try my best to heal my left leg. Because he is part of me. There is something gone that you cannot do compensation anymore. Death it is. At the moment you lost something, you know to let the lost go, then you gain something. However, do not constantly depend on the pain and lost to remind you to appreciate. Before it lost, learn to appreciate!

Snooker

The idea generation class that day really opened our mind. One of our idea is about snooker. Suddenly an idea jumped inside my mind. Not about how the snooker inspire and helps in our children storybook, but some life philosophy. I just ever play the snooker pool, which is a smaller one. I am not very expert in playing that, also not really clear about the rules and regulation, just understand need to use the white balls to push all the color balls down to the hole. So whenever I play, I will just aim to the hole and concentrate on pushing the color balls down to the hole. However, no matter how I aim, how i pose, sometime rally hard to push a ball down. However, in the mean time, another ball that accidentally being pushed by the ball that I aim can get into the hole. Sometime even I just simply push without aiming can also success. For this children story book idea generation, the "snooker theory" comes in too. The idea that we think the tutor will accept usually are not the good idea, while we think the idea that have lower chance one usually got the marks. Just like playing snooker. Life is also like playing snooker. When you purposely want to do something, sometime you feel it is hard, and no matter how many efforts you put also fail. Your journey to the goal might be hard, nevertheless there will be some surprise happen in your life. This can boost your confidence again to move forward. Of course, to decrease the failure rate,the skills are very important. Just like playing snooker, if I have learned some skills to play the snooker, the failure rate wont be so high. Therefore we have to check on our mistakes, or find other skills to make it succeed. The color balls just like our dreams and goals, in snooker pool, once we get one ball into the hole, we move closer to the glory. And our goals are the 7 color balls and a black balls. In real life, even we only have one dream or goal are hard to achieve. But hard does not mean impossible. We can be symbolize as the white ball, as long as the white ball still there, then chances are there. Just do not get the white ball into the hole then others will not have chance to take advantage on you. Perhaps I should always play snooker pool to remind me this theory of life.

Test and Drive

It was my first experience in testing drive a new car. Felt nervous and excited when holding the steering. The first car i jumped in was Proton new car, Proton Preve. I am not really particular and having very wide knowledge about cars. But after my friend urge me to test drive, I wish I can gain some practical knowledge from there. For me, Proton Preve is indeed bigger than my Proton Wira (Proton is not bad though), the technology also impressed me. Normally we will insert the car key into the hole and start the engine, but for Preve, there is no car key hole but another hole for the whole alarm to insert in, then press another button for twice, step on the break, then press the specific button again, only we can successful start the engine. Maybe I need some time to get use to it. For the first time, I drive such a high technology car, my nervousness lead me bump with a small corner. Luckily the sales person do not care so much. While I was driving, the sales person told me that this auto car can change to manual system. By just turning the gear to another side, and press "+" sign that attached on the steering, the speed change, just like changing the gear in manual. But this definitely do not bother about the clutch. I getting more comfortable in driving this but too bad I just able to drive it for 15 minutes.

Auto car and manual car supposedly are separately, but now have changed. By having this kind of car, you can drive different system depend on your situation or mood. People no longer worry about driving manual car is very tiring task when caught in jam. They can just change to auto whenever necessary. Although it is very spectacular technology, but sometime the pricing also does matter. Wish I could get one not far from now.

Breathe Of Life

Breathe of Life, a song that sang by a group called Florence and The Machine. I was outside a cinema when I first listening to this song. It's in a trailer of a movie "Snowhihte and The Huntsman". I was addicted to the song once I listened to it. By the way I have watch the movie as well, but I think the song is more interesting than the movie. The powerful voice of the singer and the instruments that played by the group is distinctive with the others song that I previously tend to listen to. This song getting impressive when I plug my earphone and turn the volume nearly maximum, the grand effect is hardly describe by words. This song are just perfectly match between the singer and the instrumental. I close my eyes and get into the world of the song, I can imagine the sorrows and dilemma that the song want to express. "Who's side am I on? Who's side am I? Who's side am I on? Who's side am I?" This lyrics has be expressed by the singer in a struggle and indecisive way. When come to the chorus, the beat became more stronger and even my goose bump came out when I follow to sing the song. "But all the choirs in my head say, no oh oh~" this part is like describing the struggle that happened within the Queen's mind in the movie. I have a thought about playing this song when I organize an indoor event in the future. It must be very exciting and impressive when the PS system work well with this song within the event hall! Just like getting a breathe of life!

Contented

This is the second time I bring my uncle to Hospital for doing physiotherapy. He met accident 3 months ago and have done the operation on his right shoulder two months after the accident. But still, his right hand unable to lift up. Because of this, I manage to step into the physiotherapy treatment room. First time when I was here I am more excited than my uncle to grab a seat there. There are full of the machines to facilitate the patient to do the physiotherapy. I wish I can do my fitness exercise there too but the nurses said only for patient. The physiotherapists are very friendly and slowly teach the patient what to do. I became a translator for my uncle as there has only 1 Chinese who was busy taking care of the kids. Yes. The physiotherapy not only for adult, but also children. I was curious about what problem they will have to lead them to the physiotherapy. The most common is the obesity. I was fun when seeing the obese boy to do the exercise. Sounds bad but really feel happy when saw he was working hard to get rid of his problem. Of course his family was there to encourage him. Today, I have totally different feeling when seeing some children doing their physiotherapy. Got one little boy, around 3 years old, first lied on a special design chair, then the chair slowly being raised and aided him to stand. However, with the help of the chair, the child still unable to stand straight, his head and body will tend to move to right or left. He seems cant control himself. His dad and mum keep encouraging him to stand straight, or help him to be straight again. Especially the mum, keep making her children happy. I know the boy is in pain. When I heard the boy's laughter, I feel so warm. Wonder to ask what actually his problem is but do not want to disturb their progress. Silently wish he will get well soon. Got some other kids, cannot even walk in a straight line, their legs is like "O" shape leg and walk like "8" style. These are really touch me. Both from the children and parents side. There are really many unfortunate one outside there. The lucky kid, can run around, sing a happy song, now more advance are moving their fingers around to play the I-Phone, Samsung Galaxy Tab. On the other hand, the parents also demand more from the children. They send their children to kindergarten at the age of 3, or let them to take extra classes to "open their mind". The parents anxious about their children is not smart enough, not competitive enough with others. Wonder how a toddler can learn so much. Comparing to the unfortunate one, for the above case, they even unable to stand or walk properly. Will the parents of them ever thinking of let them to join those kind of extra classes? I think their biggest wish is just to keep their children healthy. Nothing is important than this. Maybe human being are really greedy. Once you have no problem, you will crave for other things, and create another problem to solve. And then complaint complaint and complaint (Malaysia style).Just like because of their children have no problem, so they want their children to be the best or sort of. Human needs are never being satisfied, so after all they might end up with making their children have problem. Be contented and you will search the happiness.

Recycle

Yesterday went a shopping center with my sister, I suppose to go there for doing some academic survey for my assignment. However, I end up with spending some facial products. Just can blame to the mid year sales for giving out such temptation. I bought a facial product, something like toner, which originated from Taiwan. Before this I never use Taiwan product, recently after I watch some Taiwan drama, I envy those Taiwan lady who has fair and nice face complexion, this round i decided to switch to Taiwan's facial product. The packaging of the product is plain white with some red words, not too attractive, but somehow the words grab my attention: "The effects inside is more important than the cover; the skin within is more vital than what it actually shows." To challenge this, I decided to bring it home. (Maybe this is a trap to make some people like me to fall into). It is not too expensive, is affordable for me. I went home happily although my research are failed. This is the product, with white background and the red words. Not even a visual attractiveness occur, but the words are powerful. I learnt that if I do not know the sense of the art or image, the words can be used instead to attract the audience. A very nice strategy indeed. Besides the powerful words, there is another interesting thing about the cover or packaging. After I took out the product, there is some instruction. Not about the benefits of the product, but teaching how to transform the packaging into a pencil case. Well, this is environment friendly, another strategy as well, but I feel comfortable with it. So after follow the instruction, cut here and there, the plain white cover has transformed into a pencil box that full of lovely rose. Will You?

There are many anti-smoking PSA or gruesome pictures placed on the packaging of the cigarettes are sometime not effective enough to encourage the smokers to quit smoking. However, I am speechless when i watch this PSA..I am not sure how will the smokers feel when seeing this? A simple yet very impact-full message. By using the style of the smoking pose and do it inverted become a powerful message. The two fingers became the legs while the cigarette symbolize the penis. This obviously telling us that smoking can have bad effect toward the performance of the sexual activity. To let people have more understanding, they add on some words: "If you wont give up smoking for your lungs, heart or throat, maybe you'll do it for your penis" Then the whole image came out. Sometime this technique is more powerful than keep on giving advice and the smoking campaign that showing all the disgusting picture. But this ads directly tell you the bad effect of the smoking, in a powerful and humorous way. This probably can stick into the people mind for a longer time.

Nightmare

That time was my first attempt to read in front of a computer for a long period. Neither academic research nor watching Hong Kong soap opera. Instead, i read novels online. What a surprise for all of them who know me well. I was surprise too. The author of the stories that fascinated me so much is Giddens Ko, who is currently so well known of his film-You are The Apple of My Eye. He is so popular after the movie screening, a simple love story with a lot of humiliating elements that happens so closely in our surrounding. However, he is not only keen on writing love story, but also other stories, love, horror, adventurous, motivated and so much more. I cant named it so far as I just read some of them. The stories that attracted me the most is the "City Fear" series, which consists of different titles, they seem unrelated but have connection in some senses. The stories depicted in a simple manner, but turn all the horror and psycho scene from visual to word. The murdering process was describe in detail, the blood, the operations, the punishments...you can imagine how the character use the technique of hypnosis to kill the whole family's member, there are so real! I just carried away when I reading his city fear stories, through online reading. I can sit in front of the computer for 5-6 hours.One story after another. Until I have a nightmare, only I know that I was too over. I would not like to turn into psycho just because of reading his books. After all, I just cannot believe that there are a writer can write love story as well as horror story, maybe more. Since each of the writer want to maintain certain style so they tend to stick to one genre, to attract the certain readers that favor over their works. If they try another genre, maybe they will lost the primary reader as well. Unless they are confident to do it. Just like Giddens Ko. He can write horror story as well as the love story. From his story, I realize that he is a person who really like to write. Therefore, no matter how people look at him, he will still strive for the things that he think is good. That is why he can breakthrough and write different kind of story. Sometime we really need to be brave enough to break our barrier. Once we take the first step, we can do it. Usually the first step is the hardest step to take. But if Giddens Ko can, I think others can as well, including me.

Coffee Art

I never come across with coffee. I like to have a sweet dream rather than a sleepless night that will be invited by it. Nevertheless the images on the coffee's surface apparently attracted me the most, which is called coffee art. Coffee art is the picture or design that being display on the surface of the coffee. To create the coffee art with nice coffee, the ratio of the coffee, milk and foam must be mastered. For the people who do not drink coffee like me, I would hope to have a try after seeing the impressive patterns on the coffee. For me, this is very creative to design a picture or images on the surface of coffee. The taste of the coffee seems to become nicer after add in the images.
